After a very long break, we’re back to brewing. Good thing too, because not only are we running out of pale ales, but I missed brewing! Today was the twelfth batch of the Landlord clone, brewed again with the no-sparge method. Grain bill consisted entirely of Golden Promise, with Fuggles, Styrian and Kent Goldings for hopping. The target gravity was 1.042 and the actual was 1.040, so it’ll be a great session bitter. It is destined for either a firkin or half in the pin and the other half in a corny. Brewing went well, got a good chill without having to use the immersion chiller first. Yeast was two vials of English Ale (WLP002) that I made a starter for on Friday night.
